Summer of 2020, a summer we surely will never forget. As we transition in to what a new normal looks like how much child care will we need, want and have access too?
I know I am certainly at odds with how I feel about bringing my young son back out into a world where he spends his day being close to other child and sharing germs. I also know that there will be a time that we need to do just that, but I am a firm supporter for getting settled into our new normal slowly and safely.
That being said I am looking for alternative summer plans and for us that includes bulking up our yard in summer activities and looking for virtual alternatives. I am going to provide some resources I have come across and as more resources come out in the upcoming weeks I will keep this list as helpful as possible.

Older kids may feel a bit easier to manage, but don’t forget they are still young and need our help to stay guided and stimulated.
For those of you who have back yard space like we do, keep them active with some good old fun.
We ordered this- it is pretty nice, granted a bit on the more expensive side, but it is 10 feet in diameter, holds up to 800 lbs and most importantly it is in stock.
I broke down, trampoline here we come, but our boy could really use this jump time to get those silly’s out. This safety net keeps children from falling through the springs. One child at a time please.
Bring on the obstacles, the challenge and the fun! There are many different variations of this on amazon.
This year we will have to work on sports skills at home. But we will be ready for next year!!
